Sneaker Friends with Gregg Street Atlanta

Soooo a few weeks ago, I got invited to do the Greg Street of V103 (radio station in Atlanta) annual Sneaker Friend's show. I wasn't prepared at all, but then again what's new. I was forced to stop procrastinating on the new logo for the brand and finally get some visuals printed. I absolutely love how the logo banner compliments the photoshoot display. I also got the chance to play around with some tshirt designs. I officialy think I am about to start doing tshirts with a vengeance. I was having a little but too much fun piecing design details together. Needless to say I see a few giveaways on the horizon! As always stay tuned!

A change is a comin' for Kawaii Parlor

Hmmm I am not sure where to start. First, I know it seem as though things have been dead at Kawaii Parlor. It couldn't be more opposite. I have been working very hard to change and over haul the line to introduce tshirts and more ready to wear to my brand. Why has this taken so long? Well for starters, I am not a graphic artist, and secondly I am a busy mommy that likes to micro manage everything in my life. However, I have made a declaration to myself. Kawaii Parlor will be my own personal journey to see through to very end. What that entails for me personally has nothing to do with money or becoming famous. Its simply a matter of accomplishment for myself. I would like to be able to reflect back on my life and say, "you've been though hell but you did some amazing things!"
The good news is, I will be pumping out corsets left and right. The bad news is, I won't be taking a ton of orders so most will be ready to ship. I have learned the hard way that a strictly cut and sew business is for people with deep pockets and a reliable team of production workers. On the flip side, I could be blessed with an amazing set of seamtresses and go back to offering custom made apparel again. (fingers crossed)
The other great news is that I am going to have a boat load of kawaii products such as bags, hats, shoes, jewelry, t-shirts, phone accessories and more.
I love how things are turning out so far and I am a excited to enter into a new season of possibilities. To my customers that have been supporting me for years, I couldn't thank you enough. I feel so humbled by the emails I get from past buyers wanting to know when I will have new stuff. I hope that I will continue to keep your interests and make you proud.

Keep it kawaii
xoxo
